Experiences
Traditional Trail Ride

Your adventure begins in the outdoor riding ring, learning and practicing basic commands before heading out to the magical wooded trails. Our expert stable personnel are available to hand walk along side of you and your horse, or ride and follow one of our trail guides.
Riding Lesson
We offer both English or Western riding lessons. Begin or continue to develop skills as a rider on one of steady lesson horses. Our western saddles will hold you securely, allowing you to comfortably gain experience and confidence. Learn to safely mount and dismount, and practice all three gaits; walk, trot, and canter*(Canter at trainer’s discretion, based on skill level of rider).
Wagon Ride

Load up friends and loves ones in our 12-person horse-drawn wagon and explore our sprawling property along with the surrounding Carolina Management Trail System. Continue the festivity at the Equestrian’s Center stone patio and fire pit as you enjoy drinks, snacks, and a complementary bottle of sparkling wine with horses and nature as your backdrop.
Carriage Ride/Sunset Stroll

Enjoy a cozy and romantic one-hour private carriage ride for up to four around our pristine grounds. The Sunset Stroll experience includes a bottle of sparkling wine.
Pony Ride
Kids will enjoy learning how to lead, groom, tack and ride one of our perfect ponies. Once in the ring, they will learn the basics to riding or build on previous skills. Finish your ride with a cool down trail ride around the grounds of the Preserve Equestrian Center.
Meet The Pony
Meet, pet and love on our adorable mini’s. This experience is great for children who may be a little nervous or want a gradual intro to horses. Once they are comfortable with the mini’s, the kids will get to ride their new friend.
Kids Scavenger Hunt
Children will go on a 30-minutes arena ride and trail ride around The Equestrian Center’s property on one of The Preserve’s ponies, followed by a farm scavenger hunt ending with a prize and a treat!
Kids Pegasus Camp

Children will learn the basics of horse care and riding during this 3-hour camp! Starting with leading, grooming and tacking your horse, then a lesson on how to ride, culminating in a fun trail ride and finishing with snacks for you and your pony.
Paint the Pony
Come give our mini’s, Cupcake and Sprinkles, an alternative look using washable paints. Be creative and whimsical as you paint a living canvas. Be sure to take a photo of you with your amazing piece of art!
Campfire Happy Hour

Enjoy wine, charcuterie, s’mores and lawn games with friends and loved ones on our beautiful stone patio around the campfire while watching The Preserve’s horses graze and listening to the relaxing sounds of nature and our water feature as the sun sets.

Custom Equestrian Experience

Design your own equestrian experience at The Preserve. Learn new skills and horsemanship as you pick and choose all your favorite equestrian activities. We will work with you to create an experience you can’t find anywhere else.
Ride and Relax Equestrian Package

Enjoy a relaxing trail ride (1 hour) through the scenic woods at the Preserve Equestrian Center where you can disconnect from the stress of life and reconnect with nature. Special focus is placed on breathing, awareness, and movement, to help you engage your muscles and deepen your connection with your horse. Follow up your trail ride with a special Prancer leg massage. This 60 min massage focuses on the lower back and legs to help ease muscles after a day of horseback riding. This package also includes a foot scrub and foot paraffin for those dry and callous feet.
