Your adventure begins in the outdoor riding ring, learning and practicing basic commands before heading out to the magical wooded trails. Our expert stable personnel are available to hand walk along side of you and your horse, or ride and follow one of our trail guides.

We offer both English or Western riding lessons. Begin or continue to develop skills as a rider on one of steady lesson horses. Our western saddles will hold you securely, allowing you to comfortably gain experience and confidence. Learn to safely mount and dismount, and practice all three gaits; walk, trot, and canter* (Canter at trainer’s discretion, based on skill level of rider).

Carraige ride/Sunset stroll is the Sunset Wagon Ride. It is different from a regular wagon ride. This is in our 4-seater Cinderella style wagon. It is specifically directed to couples or small groups looking to have a more intimate experience. It is a 1 hour wagon ride with prosecco, smores, and a campfire directly after. The main goal is to have the ride at sunset or near sunset. In winter we can run this at 3pm and in summer we can run it at 4pm.

Kids will enjoy learning how to lead, groom, tack and ride one of our perfect ponies. Once in the ring, they will learn the basics to riding or build on previous skills. Finish your ride with a cool down trail ride around the grounds of the Preserve Equestrian Center.

Children will go on a 30 minute arena ride and trail ride around The Equestrian Center’s property on one of The Preserve’s ponies, followed by a farm scavenger hunt ending with a prize and a treat!

Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, The Preserve Equestrian Center is ready to take you driving! Learn to confidently handle and drive a steady, well-trained horse. Our harnesses and equipment will ensure a secure and comfortable experience as you develop control and technique. Learn to safely hitch and unhitch the horse, practice proper rein handling, and work through different gaits.

Enjoy wine, charcuterie, s’mores and lawn games with friends and loved ones on our beautiful stone patio around the campfire while watching The Preserve’s horses graze and listening to the relaxing sounds of nature and our water feature as the sun sets.
